Jody "Cool" Simoneaux
Car:
- 1967 Chevy II E/SA, Jeff Taylor 327 engine - Best ET/MPH: 11.02 at 118
Driver Bio:
- 31 year-old Jody Simoneaux has enjoyed his fair share of success on the race track. Jody, who is appropriately nicknamed "Cool", was a long time drag racing spectator before his first lap down the quarter mile at 17 years old. It didn't take him long to adapt, then secure 3 track championships at his local track No Problem Raceway located in Belle Rose, LA. In 2007, Simoneaux jumped at the chance to drive for the Cummings family behind the wheel of their gorgeous Moser Engineering-backed '67 Chevy II stock eliminator entry (that displays the familiar Moser team paint scheme applied by Imagine That Customs). Now married with two children, "Cool" has a couple divisional championships to his credit along with an IHRA national event trophy. Look for Jody to make another strong run in the NHRA Division 4 stock eliminator points standings this season!
