- Shannon Roberts got her drag racing start behind the wheel of a Super Stock ’70 Camaro, a car that her father drove on the street in high school. Since then, the 24 year-old University of South Carolina graduate has progressed into the Super Comp and Quick Rod categories. Shannon competes in national and divisional events throughout the Southeast region near her hometown, Laurens, SC.
